Team
The Peachtree team founded the private equity business of Wachovia bank in 1997. While there, they were responsible for the bank’s mezzanine investing, direct private equity investing plus commitments to third party, independent funds.
In 2002 the team formed Peachtree Equity as an independent private equity fund to provide growth equity to profitable, Southeast businesses managed by owner-operators. In 2009, the team established Peachtree II to capitalize on attractive opportunities in the mezzanine debt market.

David Christopher - Partner
David is a founder and partner of Peachtree and is responsible for originating, executing and managing investments for the Partnership. David serves on the Board of several Peachtree portfolio companies. Prior to Peachtree, David was a Vice President of Wachovia Capital Associates (legacy Wachovia’s private equity business).
Prior to Wachovia Capital Associates, David worked at Continental Illinois Venture Corporation (CIVC), the Chicago-based buyout group of Bank of America. Prior to CIVC, David was an investment banking analyst at Kidder, Peabody & Co. and a high yield research analyst at J.P. Morgan. David received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan.

Wendell Reilly - Partner
Wendell has over twenty years of private equity, entrepreneurial and executive management experience in media and communications. Wendell joined Peachtree in 2009 as a partner. Prior to Peachtree, Wendell founded Grapevine Communications, a venture-backed group of eight television stations. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer of Lamar Advertising Company (NASDAQ: LAMR) and Haas Publishing Companies.
Wendell currently serves as Managing Partner of Grapevine Partners and CEO of SignPost Networks, LLC, a Grapevine portfolio company offering a network of electronic (LED) displays in rail stations. Wendell serves on the Board of Brown and Brown, Inc. (NYSE: BRO) and Lamar Advertising Company as well as the Board of Trustees of Emory University. Wendell earned an MBA in Finance from Vanderbilt University and a B.A. in English from Emory University.

Matt Sullivan - Partner
Matt is a founder and partner of Peachtree and is responsible for originating, executing and managing investments for the Partnership. Matt serves on the Board of several Peachtree portfolio companies.
Prior to Peachtree, Matt was Managing Director in charge of Wachovia Capital Associates, and was the group's principal interface with Wachovia Bank. Prior to Wachovia Capital Associates, Matt worked in the Corporate Finance department of Kidder, Peabody in New York, and previously with Arthur Andersen where he earned his CPA. Matt graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard Business School.

John McCarty - Partner
John is a partner of Peachtree and is responsible for originating, executing and managing investments for the Partnership. John joined Peachtree in 2004 and has executed and led investments for Fund I and Fund II.
John’s principal investing experience also includes two years as a Senior Investment Officer with Roswell Capital Partners, an Atlanta-based private investment firm. Previously, John was an investment banker with The Breckenridge Group in Atlanta and CSFB-DLJ and Banc of America Securities in New York. John received a B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.

Christie Sanders - Operations Manager
Christie is the Operations Manager for Peachtree and has worked with the founders for over ten years. She is responsible for accounting, human resources and administrative activities for the management company and the Peachtree funds. Prior to Peachtree, Christie worked with Wachovia Capital Associates and Wachovia Investment Banking in various administrative functions.
Prior to Wachovia Capital Associates, Christie was a licensed private investigator and division coordinator for a national corporate security and investigations firm. Christie received her B.S. in Criminal Justice from Georgia State University.
